IRELAND

Ireland is way more than its capital, Dublin. It was drizzling in Dublin, but, despite it, the streets were full of tourists. O’Connell Street is the largest urban street in Europe. In the Temple Bar area, the bohemian spirit was replaced by commercialism. Still, it preserved its charm, especially inside the bars that ooze of good mood and music with Guinness pints everywhere. The Trinity College, the most impressive buildings in the city, commands a visit to its magnificent library that has more than one million volumes and manuscripts. It was a monastery converted in 1592 into a college during the rule of Queen Elizabeth I and renovated in 1759. From there, you continue on College Street to the Dublin Castle and Christ Church, following a route around the Parliament building and numerous museums.
