“Palermo, Palermo…” begins in Palermo, the largest city in Sicily, where we visit Capela Palatina, its elegant squares and the crypts full of mummified corpses of the Capuchin Catacombs. Close to Palermo are two famous churches covered in Byzantine mosaics, the cathedral of Monreale and Cefalu. We end up out tour in beautiful Taormina.©2005
