CHILE

Chile is a strip of land squeezed between the Andes and the Pacific. Its 6435 km coastline is one of the longest in the world for a country.

Santiago is a cosmopolitan city, the political and financial capital of the country. Its fabulous location offers exquisite views over the Andes Mountains. Two hours away, a different feel has Valparaiso, a harbor sprawled over the crescent of 42 hills.

Down south, Punta Arenas looks like the colonists’ spirit still lives in the faded pictures of the museum and the main square. Relatively close by is Puerto Natales, the hub for travelers and backpackers who congregate here for the last preparations before they leave for Parque Nacional Torres del Paine. The park is majestic, with turquoise glacier lakes and snow-capped peaks. It is a place of primeval and pristine beauty that you cannot stop loving when you walk its paths, even with the Patagonian brutal winds and wildly weather change.
